ADA Global Studies provides one-of-a-kind opportunities for students to dive into the rich and unique history of African Diasporic communities around the world. Our work is grounded in building solidarity, not charity, through long-term partnerships with universities and community organizations that have been built and sustained by the Founders for over a decade.

Connecting the African Diaspora Through Global Education.
ADA Global Studies was born from a shared vision between childhood friends Moriah Ray and Jasmine Hall. Their journey began in 2015 when they embarked on a transformative study abroad experience in Havana, Cuba. Deeply inspired by Cuba's rich African history and the solidarity of transnational African communities, they realized the urgent need for a space where students, activists, and educators could connect and learn from the African Diaspora's global impact.

We were frustrated by the Eurocentric study abroad experiences we had, even in countries with rich Afro-Indigenous histories like Cuba and Mexico.
ADA Global Studies' founders set out to create something different—an international education that honors Afro-Indigenous communities and uplifts grassroots efforts. Their mission is to provide BIPOC students with the transformative, culturally relevant opportunities they were missing.
